Under the Sector for Technical and Administrative Support lies the unit Land and Facilities. Land and Facilities is an execution organization located in Mölnlycke, working with the operation and maintenance of roads, parks, and recreational facilities.

The municipality's parks and green spaces require care year-round. The needs change with the seasons. Land and Facilities operates year-round and employs external contractors from spring to autumn.

Your Mission

• To carry out practical measures according to technical descriptions and maps.
• Planting and watering seasonal plants and facilities.
• Weeding in public planting areas.
• Mowing grass.
• Effectively plan your own time to ensure tasks are completed.
• Cleaning in and around flower beds and plantings.
• Traffic safety measures in the form of pruning, grass trimming, and brush clearing.

As a park worker, your main task is to improve the maintenance quality in the areas of Mölnlycke, Landvetter, Härryda, Hindås, Rävlanda, and Hällingsjö. You will be the face of the municipality and represent it. The work is both independent and collaborative with the unit's dedicated employees in a public environment.

Requirements for the Position

We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient, has a strong interest in the green sector, and enjoys physical work. You understand the context of the actions you perform. As a person, you are engaged and want to create a pleasant and well-maintained outdoor environment. We place great importance on good public interaction, being social and responsible. We prefer that you have knowledge of plants to make accurate assessments and take the prescribed maintenance actions. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. A B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle (not condition code 78) is required.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
